  We asked Jax Furniture Refinishing & Upholstering to refinish a beautiful old Ethan Allen dining room table — well loved but well used, it needed a complete stripping and refinishing. The biggest concern was that the beautiful grain on the table would be swept away in the process. Although every other person with whom we had consulted had refused the job, Jax Furniture Refinishing took on the challenge. Here is the result — we are so very happy to have our beautiful table so beautifully restored !!!

  Absolutely recommend Jax Furniture Refinishing & Upholstery. They reupholstered 4 dining room chairs to perfection. Customer service is awesome (thank you Suzanne). Reupholstery was done with an expert eye to detail. Notes: I emailed and filled out online forms for an estimate to several other companies. Only Suzanne responded and did so right away. Once we made contact she never ghosted me, even after they had my chairs in-house. I delivered my chairs. They made it very easy and efficient. They also recommended that the fabric I provided would not work well on my chairs. I worked with Suzanne on picking out new fabric (free fabric samples). The chair reupholstery is incredibly professional. The chair edges and folds around the arms are perfect with no bunching. The underside of the chair is even finished cleanly. I just could not be happier and intend to have my bedroom armchair done by them next. Also, payment online was easy and the price very reasonable and worth every penny. ————- 2nd Review Had JAX Furniture reupholster my bedroom chair and ottoman. I supplied the fabric and they did an awesome job. They updated the original yellow chair style and added a great back pillow. Very happy and tell everyone I know about them.   When they first came by to see what we had to re-upholster (bring back to life) I mentioned the chairs were purchased 1998, or so. We loved these chairs so comfortable, but needed life brought back. We were give a variety of fabrics and colors to chose. When the time came, the chairs were carefully carried away. So empty was the space without them Then 2 weeks later, both covered from the rain, they came back to us. Such beautiful materials and color. So bright and warm. Every detail known before was there brought out so lovely. Thank you! Brilliant!

  JAX Furniture &Refinishing is amazing. They refinished and old bookcase for me and reupholstered a chair. Both finished products turned out beautifully. Although the bookcase took a great deal longer than planned, I’m still very pleased with the result. Suzanne was wonderful to work with, and kept me well informed of the progress. Highly recommend.   We had a wonderful experience with Jax Furniture when we asked if they could restore our antique, matching Louis XIV Style end tables. The process was smooth and efficient, a very reasonable estimate was provided and pick-up was reliable and easy. I did prepay the estimated price. The tables were returned in about two months time and the result was stunning! The photos tell the story. These tables, which belonged to my parents, have never looked as beautiful in my lifetime, they are breathtaking. I applaud the talented Finishers, the compliments are endless endearing. Working with everyone at Jax Furniture was delightful and their work is highly recommended. We will be happily engaging their professional services again very soon.

  I was truly pleased with the work that was recently done on a bedroom suite of mine that is a family heirloom. The finisher repair drawer wear that was beginning to scrape and remove the finish. He matched the finish to where you cannot see any difference, no matter where I looked. I also cannot say enough about the pickup and redelivery of furniture back to me.   Good things. about Jax furniture refinishing , they refinished a chair and. a regulator clock from the 1890s that has been in my family since then. I'm very happy everything is beautiful. I would recommend them to anyone. Beautiful, beautiful work.

  JAX Furniture refinished 2 items for me that were damaged in our commercial moving process…. a small mirrored cabinet as well as an antique vanity chair. They came back perfect. It wasn’t cheap, but worth the money

  These guys are phenomenal. A couple years ago they did great work refinishing a couple of tables for me so when I had an challenge to repurpose the family crib I automatically turned to them. Anyone who has tried to bring an old crib up to new crib standards will understand that it is almost impossible. So we decided to turn the crib into a bench/storage unit. It is gorgeous! The family treasure is preserved in a new form for future generations. Thanks guys!

  Jax Furniture Refinishing & Upholstering we're fabulous to work with. They refinished our dining table within our tight timeframe and it looks amazing. We visited their facility to look at the stain color on the table leaf, which ensured that we got the color we were looking for. Their communication, workmanship, and overall service was excellent.

  I had a leg break off an antique desk that I was moving across country and I brought it into Jax Furniture. They were extremely helpful incredibly reasonably priced and they did a phenomenal job on fixing the leg. This thing was shattered and I can’t even tell which leg Was the impacted one, that’s how good repair job they did. I would highly recommend using them for any furniture repair.

  If I could give more than 5 stars I would! Jax Furniture Refinishing are miracle workers. Our dog decided to use our 150 year old table as a chew toy and chewed 2 of the solid legs. I assumed we would have to get rid of the table. When someone recommended Jax I figured it was worth a shot to try to have someone fix it. Jax picked up our table and 3 weeks later, as promised, my table was restored and literally looks better than when I first got it. I have looked at it in detail and I swear I can’t see any sign of the damage the dog did. 100% recommend!!!

  I scheduled my TV/fireplace stand furiture piece for an update with Jax Furniture. Upon scheduling and signing the contract, the invoice fee had to be paid. The furniture piece was picked up on time and carefully handled onto the truck. In the 6 weeks of refinishing, I was in good communications with the company. Suzanne did a terrific job of keeping me informed. At delivery of the refinished furniture piece, the team was attentive and careful to our house care. The furniture color was perfect and professionally painted in every way. I highly recommend Jax Furniture if you need a furniture redo or update.

  I had 4 Baker chairs reupholstered. They are 20+ years old, have been moved several times, and „attacked“ by several small dogs. I thought of getting new chairs, looked around, but saw nothing I liked as much let alone did the quality compare. My „new“ chairs from Jax Furniture are gorgeous! Detail was perfect. Totally recommend this company!
